Feed My Lambs is beyond elated to announce our new partnership with Austell Presbyterian Church as we expand our reach and open a new location! After many prayers to identify opportunities of growth, we were introduced to Pastor Dave Pearce, and an instant connection was formed.
Austell Presbyterian Church is the oldest building remaining in Austell today. The edifice was built in 1891, soon after the congregation organized in the same year. Feed My Lambs is honored to partner alongside this church who is known for their strong history of community involvement.
As a soft launch for the 2018/2019 school year, we will open registration for 38 children at the new location, and we are excited to continue to grow this location over time. Our current Feed My Lambs Austell school which is located at Austell First United Methodist Church will continue our long time partnership reaching over 65 children, which will expand our overall reach in Austell to over 100 children!
Austell, Georgia’s population is home to 10.7% of those living under the poverty level each day. Feed My Lambs will continue to live out our legacy of impacting children in these hard to reach areas of metro-Atlanta and provide a safe haven for those in need.
Austell Presbyterian Church will be honoring our teachers during their worship service on Sunday, July 29th and Pastor Dave Pearce will also assist in leading a dedication ceremony taking place at 10:30am on Monday, July 30th prior to the Open House welcoming new families. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the classrooms and meet Feed My Lambs’ teachers, students, and families. If you would like to attend please R.s.v.p to email@example.com.
Feed My Lambs sends a special thanks to our incredible partners who helped make this expansion a reality. Whitefield Academy of neighboring Mableton, Georgia raised $11,000 which provided paint, shelving, supplies, and much more for this new location. This school’s foundation is already built on selfless contributions, which is a direct reflection of God’s work in their hearts. We can’t wait to share more with you in coming days!
